Amy Hart Phillips is SVP of Strategic Partnerships and Execution at FreightWaves where she leads partnerships efforts focused on propagating FreightWaves data and insights throughout the freight industry and beyond as well as sourcing key data. Prior to joining FreightWaves, Amy contributed to the evolution and growth of pioneers at the intersection of technology, mobility, and transportation, including HERE (original digital mapping), Verizon Connect/Telogis (OEM telematics and SaaS), Lyft (self-driving rideshare and tech stack), and AWS Automotive (automotive cloud). Her career spans 25+ years in leadership roles in partnerships, general management, product management, sales, business development, and strategic marketing. She most enjoys working on upstart teams that dream big, invent industries, work hard, and have fun.
Amy earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in International Relations and Asian Studies, an MA from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Science, and spent two years studying language and political science in Japan at the International Christian University and the University of Tokyo.
