Joyce joined Signal Technologies as a Controller about a year ago and her role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Since joining the Company, she has successfully led the team in transitioning to their new accounting ERP software, converting from International Financial Reporting Standards (IRFS) to US GAAP accounting standards, and developing positive relationships with our bankers and investors. As the company continues to grow, Joyce is excited to take on more challenges and make a difference.

Previous to working at Signal, Joyce worked at Deloitte LLP as an auditor of public companies, specializing in the technologies and mining industries. Aside from auditing financial statements, she focused on evaluating different companies’ control environments under the PCAOB standard. After gaining experience in public practice, Joyce decided to move to an in-house position as a financial analyst at Federated Co-operatives Ltd (FCL) and Tasktop Technologies Inc. Both positions have provided her with valuable opportunities to develop strong financial reporting skills, and the ability to think strategically about how to improve overall profitability and manage cash flow effectively.
