Jill Stelfox is chairwoman and chief executive officer of Panzura, a software company that transforms cloud storage into a high-performance global file system. Stelfox brings more than two decades of corporate leadership to her role, having held key positions with notable technology-driven firms including Zebra Technologies, Graffiti Sports, Defywire and Noblestar.
Prior to being named CEO of Panzura in 2020, Stelfox founded and served as co-CEO at mid-market catalyst firm EDGY, where she helped companies such as McAfee, Adobe and USAA transform, align and operationalize business and technology processes.
Over the course of her career, Stelfox has built and led enterprise software firms, driving stakeholder value through successful venture funding, private equity placement, and M&A activities which returned more than $1 billion to employees and investors.
Stelfox is also well known for having changed football stats as vice president and later general manager of Location Solutions at Zebra. She created a new technology genre within the multi-billion dollar professional sports sector around tracking and analyzing athlete performance. These solutions are used by the National Football League (NFL), as well as other pro sports organizations, to capture velocity metrics for every player on every inch of the field.
As a technology innovator, Stelfox has created new business models at the intersection of industries that many considered unthinkable. Recognized for her ability to identify opportunities hidden in legacy systems, she holds five patents in the big data analytics space including techniques for moving, sharing and deriving insight from data in the cloud.
Stelfox is a member of the Forbes Business Council. She has served as a board member or advisor for Women in Sports Inc., Route Inc., Chief, De Oro Devices, The Founder Institute, and Inova Health System
