Kara Fox is a Senior Software Engineering Manager based in San Diego. She manages the teams who own the Fulcrum application codebase, including the user interface and much of the API.
Kara joined Fulcrum in 2020 and brings over 15 years of experience designing and building consumer-facing web applications and internal tools. Her user-focused background includes experience as an engineer, a product owner, user experience designer, and Webby award-winning work with location data at Verizon Location Services. Her success at Fulcrum has been centered around growing her teams and building up culture by spearheading engineering initiatives like Guilds and Chapters. She has integrated continuous delivery and drives developer experience improvements that help Fulcrum engineers be more productive and capable. Her teams are part of a force working to position Fulcrum as a leading platform in business process automation and intelligent team automation tools.
